Bhubaneswar, July 4 (LocalWire): The state government has now decided to undertake a 45-day special drive to trace the Coronavirus suspects from across the state.
State Chief Spokesperson on Coronavirus Subroto Bagchi said that the drive will try to trace people from the rural and slum areas in urban areas for the screening.
“The government has planned to take a 45-day drive to trace, test and treat Coronavirus patients.
Under the plan the ASHA workers will roam around in these areas to screen the population,” he said.
He also said that under the drive, the frontline workers will visit the households of the rural and slum areas in cities and try to collect information about the health indicators of the people.
‘Those having Corona symptoms will be shifted to the COVID Care Homes and if the results come positive they will be shifted to COVID Hospitals.
In case their results come negative they will be asked to go for home quarantine,” he said.
