Bhubaneswar, May 24 (LocalWire): The heatwave intensified across Odisha today with Titilagarh seeing a rise in temperature by 0.3 degrees and 4 places recording a temperature of 44 degrees and above.
Titilagarh recorded a temperature of 45.8 degrees while Talcher is the second highest at 44.3 degrees, officials said .
The state capital recorded a highest temperature of 34.7 degrees while Cuttack was close ahead at 35.0 degrees.
Bhawanipatna and Bolangir recorded 44 degrees each, while Sambalpur, Angul and Jharsuguda had a temperature of 42.2, 42.5 and 41.6 degrees respectively.
Paradip recorded the lowest maximum temperature in the state at 32.2 degrees while Gopalpur and Puri recorded 32.9 and 33.0 respectively.
