Bhubaneswar, April 14 (LocalWire): The meteorological department forecast said temperature is likely to rise by two-three degree Celsius and the heat wave will continue during the next four days across the state.
Nine cities recorded maximum temperature above 40 degrees Celsius yesterday. Talcher was the hottest with the day temperature of 43.1 degree C followed by Titilagarh 43 degree C, Angul 42.7 degree C, Bhawanipatna 42.5 degree C and Bolangir 42 degree C.
Jharsuguda recorded 40.9 degree C, Sonepur 40.8 degree C and Sambalpur 40.1 degree C.
However, Odisha’s twin cities recorded below 40 degree C on Saturday. While Bhubaneswar had 39.5 degree C, Cuttack recorded the maximum temperature of 38.6 degree C.
