Bhubaneswar, June 21 (LocalWire): The Met department today predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at on or two places over the western Odisha districts of Nuapada, Nabarangpur, Bargarh, Bolangir and Kalahandi.
Heavy rainfall is also likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh, the release by the Met department said.
Light rainfall is very likely to occur at many places over the coastal districts of Odisha.
In an earlier release, the department informed that 6 districts in Odisha had received a large excess of seasonal district average cumulative rainfall.
While most districts have received an excess average cumulative rainfall, 10 districts including Cuttack, Khurdha, Puri and Jagatsinghpur have recorded normal average, while Kendrapara and Jajpur have recorded a deficient average cumulative rainfall.
