Bhubaneswar, April 4 (LocalWire): The Indira Gandhi National Open University will provide free admissions to transgenders from the new session starting in July 2019, an official said on Thursday.
This was announced by centre director Manoj Kumar Dash during the 32nd convocation ceremony here.
Candidates from the transgender community can also apply for the courses online.
They would need to upload the required educational certificates/documents as well as a letter from a competent authority, confirming their status.
