Bhubaneswar, Sept 23 (LocalWire): With a cyclonic circulation lying over Bay of Bengal near south Andhra Pradesh coast, the India Meteorological department (IMD) here sent out an orange warning for tomorrow while forecasting possible heavy rain in isolated places in five districts of the state.
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over the districts of Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Puri, Jagatsinghpur and Khurda, the latest weather bulletin said.
An orange alert is a moderate warning as per meteorological terminology that asks the authorities of concerned areas to remain prepared for a severe situation.
Under the influence of above cyclonic circulation and strong monsoon current, enhanced rainfall activity very likely in some districts of north Odisha.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at most places over the districts of north coastal Odisha and at many places over the districts of north interior Odisha and south coastal Odisha and at a few places over the rest districts of Odisha, the bulletin by IMD here added.
