Bhubaneswar, May 9 (LocalWire): A heat wave warning was issued by the Indian Meteorological Department here, for several districts of the state, till 12 May.
IMD’s latest bulletin warned, ‘Heat wave condition will prevail across the state from tomorrow and would continue for two more days.’
Accordingly, the Met department has issued a yellow warning for Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Deogarh, Angul, Bargarh, Sonepur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Bolangir and Nuapada districts.
The bulletin read, ‘Heat is tolerable for the general public but moderate concern for vulnerable people such as infants, elderly people with chronic diseases. The people are advised to avoid exposure to heat.’
