Bhubaneswar, Oct 14 (LocalWire): Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd (IMFA), the country’s leading fully integrated producer of value-added ferrochrome has been recognized by the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI) with the prestigious “Hindustan Zinc Health & Safety Award 2019-20” for its Mahagiri Mines (Chromite).
Mahagiri Mines (Chromite) got the award for best Occupational Health and Safety performance in the Underground Mines category.
On behalf of IMFA, Shri Sanjeev Das, Senior VP & Head-Mines Business Unit received the award from Shri Anil Kumar Jain, Secretary to the Govt. of India, Ministry of Mines & Coal, at FIMI office in New Delhi in a virtual function held on 14th October, 2020.
