Bhubaneswar, July 25 (LocalWire): Experts from Odisha claim that the technologies developed by Israeli scientists of real time screening of Coronavirus could empower the country and the state in faster testing of the global pandemic.
These include four breakthrough technologies. Two are related to two tests which use saliva samples (Using polymine acids and inexpensive biochemical isothermal testing) to screen the disease.
Another one is screening through voice recognition of the infection person.
“This could tell if a person has Covid infection by listening to his or her voice.
The technology uses artificial intelligence (AI),” said Dr Manoj Sahu, senior gastroenterologist, associated with World Health Organisation (WHO) for Hepatitis Eradication and Corona Prevention.
The technique listens to a person’s voice and determine if he or she has first stage Corona Infection.
One could even do the diagnosis through a cell phone too.
The fourth method is a breath analyser. One would breathe into a tube and the machine which uses terahertz radio frequencies and an algorithm to tell if you have the virus.
Initial testing of the technologies have been done in Israel already and now the country plans to test these in India.
“This will mean you can be tested as you enter an airport ,a mall or anywhere.
Real time testing would allow the economy to open again,” he said.
After sucessfully trying the techniques in Isreal a delegation of scientists has now planned to visit India and hold talks with authorities to try the techniques in the country.
