Bhubaneswar, May 18 (LocalWire): Seven districts of Odisha will reel under an intense heat wave for next few days, the Regional Meteorological Centre here has forecast.
The temperatures will hover above 40 degrees Celsius, an official said on Saturday.
While most cities will remain dry, Koraput, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar will receive moderate rainfall, Sudarshan Mishra, an official of the weather department said.
Bargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Nabarangpur, Nuapara, Sambalpur and Sonepur cities will experience temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, he added.
On Friday, 10 cities in Odisha had recorded temperatures of above 40 degree Celsius, with Titlagarh recording the highest at 45.5 degree Celsius.
