Bhubaneswar, March 15 (LocalWire): The 2019 Joint Entrance Exam JEE (Main) have been rescheduled by the National Testing Agency (NTA) due to the general elections.
The exams that were scheduled from 7-20 April will now be held from April 7 to 12 as per the notice issued.
Paper I (BE/B-tech) examination will be held on 8, 9, 10 and 12 April while Paper II (B. Arch / B Planning) examination will be held on 7 April.
Admit cards for the candidates will be available on the website from 20 March onwards.
This year students have been allowed to appear in two JEE Main examinations. One was held in January and the other will be in April.
Out of the 9 lakh 34 thousand students who applied for the second JEE Main examination, 70,000 students have already appeared in the first examination.
Three lakh 12 thousand candidates will appear for the first time now. The NTA will announce the new merit list after taking into consideration the higher score by students from both the examinations.
