The competition was led by collectors of 412 districts from 25 states and union territories, sources said.
Other districts which have figured in the top ten districts included Bankura and Murshidabad (West Bengal), Ganderbl (Jammu and Kashmir), Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh), Hazaribagh, Lohardaga (Jharkhand), Jehanabad (Bihar), Kodagu (Karnataka), Salem (Tamil Nadu), Sangli (Maharashtra) and South-West Khasi Hills (Meghalaya), sources said.

Kandhamal collector Brundha. D led all these campaign to create awareness among the people to make the district ODF.
“We have achieved the ODF. But we are waiting for the official announcement in the next one or two weeks,” said the collector.
