Keonjhar, May 18 (LocalWire): Biswaranjan Samal, a nature lover and businessman from Keonjhar, has built a tree house on the outskirts of the city to create awareness against cutting of trees.
“The aim is to spread the message that houses can be constructed without damaging the nature,” said Samal.
It was his childhood dream to stay in a tree house, he said.
“I was in search of a big tree and an ideal location to build a tree house. To my good luck, I noticed a huge Sal tree on my plot in Naranpur village on the outskirts of Kenojhar town.
“After consulting with architects, I began constructing the 400-sq-feet house.
They found the trunk and branches of the tree suitable for the house. So without further delay, I plunged into the project,” he said.
Tree houses are common in foreign countries. In India, though, tree houses are built mostly for tourism and commercial purpose.
However, Samal’s tree house is a special and is already getting people’s attention.
