Bhubaneswar, December 21 (LocalWire): Advertising and IT professionals, architects, students, and families teamed up to join the 97th Monks, Caves and Kings heritage walk at the twin hills Khandagiri and Udayagiri on Saturday.
The trail that was organised in the morning saw children enjoy a lot as they rediscovered their roots and learned about the ancient Kalinga Empire and its pride.
Over 20 people joined the journey that was more than just about history, heritage, and architecture and curious minds found their questions answered by fellow walkers and others visiting the Jain monument.
One of the participants, Rajalaxmi, said that as someone who liked to travel on her own, it was sometimes difficult to understand the reason why a particular monument was built and how its story was different from the others.
But stories weren’t the only thing shared, as trivia was passed around, with kids showing interest in knowing more.
