Bhubaneswar, February 17 (LocalWire) The first meeting of an international consortium created to promote female entrepreneurship in India, was held here recently at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).
The consortium co-funded by Erasmus plus, a European Union programme for education, training, youth and sports, has eight Indian partners and five foreign partners.
KIIT technology business incubator is the coordinating institution.
24 representative of all the partner institutions participated and deliberated on the roadmap at the first meeting.
Under this project, training and workshop will be organised at both India and abroad.
Entrepreneurship Resource Centres (ERC) will be created in all Indian institutions which will help in promoting women entrepreneurship.
This partnership will bring cross border learning and build new collaboration in days to come, the KIIT said in a statement.
Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder of KIIT and KISS congratulated the coordinator of the project Dr. Mrutyunjay Suar (CEO of KIITTBI) for bringing such projects for a cause.
