Bhubaneswar, October 4 (LocalWire): The five-day Konark Festival scheduled to be held on 1 December will showcase Odisha’s tourism and cultural legacy to woo international tourists.
The festival will be a global event with cultural troupes from Indonesia performing during the five-day event.
The troupes from the state and other foreign countries would also take part in the festival.
Beside Odishi, classical dance troupes from different parts of the country will also present Kathak, Kuchipudi, Bharatnatyam, Mohiniatttam, and Manipuri dance during the festival, state chief secretary Asit Padhi said.
He was presiding a high-level meeting on Thursday to chalk out plans for the festival.
