Rourkela, Sept 4 (LocalWire): The Livelihood Incubation Centre set up here in February as part of Prime Minister Modi’s much-acclaimed ‘Skill India’ died a natural death soon after it was inaugurated.
Set up in a large part of the Sector 15 primary school, the incubation centre is a breeding ground for ‘mosquitoes’ and a safe haven for addicts, drunkards and used rather for immoral activities.
While inaugurating the centre, the then minister for tribal welfare Jual Oram had said it was his dream project.
The centre was opened for the tribals in the presence of G Ramesh Kumar, director, national scheduled tribes finance and development corporation (NSTFDC), former CEO RSP Ashwini Kumar and Sanjay Rautela, zonal general manager national small industries corporation (NSIC).
But today ‘the dreams’ of the former minister have lost its wings as the project and the building lie in shambles and he also doesn’t seem to keep a tab into what happened to the centre.
