Balangir, December 11 (LocalWire): While several activities marked the International Mountain Day celebrations in the state, locals of village Sagadghat here have demanded that two natural waterfalls Kadalijharan and Aam Jharan near their villages be developed as ecotourism spots.
Both waterfalls emerge from the Barnei mountain in Titilagarh Forest Range, 65km from here, sources said.
The villagers led by the Sagadghat sarpanch Olita Sahu also put forth their demand before the Balangir divisional forest officer (DFO) Sameer Satpathy, who visited the spot today.
