Bhubaneswar, Oct 1 (LocalWire): A low pressure area has developed over North-west Bay of Bengal off the south Odisha coast, the Met centre in Bhubaneswar said today.
The Met centre has predicted heavy rainfall over the next 5 days.
While an orange warning has been issued for Oct 1 for 5 Odisha districts including Ganjam and Mayurbhanj, a yellow warning has been issued for 15 districts including Khordha, Cuttack, Angul, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Balasore, Kalahandi and Boudh.
A yellow warning of heavy rainfall has been issued for 13 districts for Oct 2, including Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Deogarh and Kandhamal.
