Bhubaneswar, Dec 28 (LocalWire) Eyeing the 2019 General Elections, Prime Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) strongman Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Odisha twice in January.
He will be visiting the state on Jan 5 to to address a public meeting at Baripada in Mayurbhanj district, said BJP state in-charge Arun Singh.
The second visit will be on Jan 16 when Modi attends a party convention – Swabhiman Samavesh – in Bolangir.
Modi will address a huge rally where he will boost up party workers for the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha polls, said BJP state general secretary Prithviraj Harichandan.
Pertinently, Modi visited Odisha on Dec 24 to launch projects worth Rs 14,523 cr in the state, besides, inaugurating IIT Bhubaneswar campus, Lalitgiri museum and laying foundation stone for a permanent building of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Berhampur.
He also released a commemorative coin and postage stamp in memory of Paika Rebellion and addressed a public rally at Khurda.
