Khordha, May 16 (LocalWire): Nabinabag of Khordha district has been declared a containment zone as one positive case of COVID-19 was detected there.
The positive case detected is a West Bengal returnee, and while he has been quarantined, the area that he visited has been made a containment zone in order to stop the spread.
The boundaries of the containment zone are from the house of Janmejaya Pattnayak of Nabinabag to Subal Swain Lane of Nabinabag, Ward no. 6 of Khordha Municipality.
No one is allowed to move into the containment zone, while people staying in are not allowed out of their houses.
Supply of essential and medical requirements shall be ensured through various teams formed by the District Administration, the order said.
All shops, government and private institutions inside the containment zone shall remain closed.
Dr. V.R. Pati, CDM & PHO, Khordha has been appointed the Nodal Officer for overall supervision of the door-to-door survey in said area, while Dr. D.N. Satapathy, ADPHO(FW), Khordha is the Nodal Officer who shall look after the health requirements.
Smt. Swetapadma Satpathy, ORS, Executive Officer, Khordha Municipality has been appointed the Nodal Officer to ensure the supply of sanitary and essential commodities.
