Bhubaneswar, Dec 4 (LocalAire) As 48th Indian Navy Day is being observed across the country to commemorate the achievements and role of the naval force, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday hailed the feat of naval forces in strengthening sea-route security.
“Best wishes to our guardians of seas and oceans and their families on #NavyDay. Salute to the men in white for their courage, indomitable spirit and dedication to protect our maritime borders”, Patnaik lauded navy in his official twitter handle today.
The chief minister also offered congratulatory message to Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) for the successful flight test of indigenously developed Prithvi-ii missile.
“Congratulations to @DRDO_India on successful flight test of indigenously developed #Prithvi-II missile, off #Odisha coast.
Successful test firing of the surface-to-surface missile will further strengthen country’s defence capabilities. #DRDO”, Patnaik tweeted in his official handle.
