Surat, Dec 16 (LocalWire): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will address the Odia people living in Surat on Monday attending cultural show ‘Odisha Mahotsav’ organised by Prabashi Odia Samaj (POS).
Several Odia cine starts, singers and musicians will perform at the Mahotsav, said a member of the POS.
“We are far away from the state and miss the Odia dance and culture here in Gujarat. The POS decided to organize a cultural programme and invited the Chief Minister. We are tankful that he has given his consent to grace the programme,” said Bijay Kumar Kanhar, president of the POS.
Senior Biju Janata Dal (BJD) leaders from Ganjam district are leaving no stone unturned to make the cultural show a grand success as the city is home to around eight lakh Odia people.
