Bhubaneswar, May 22 (Local Wire): Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today had a telephonic conversation with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and extended his help to the cyclone hit West Bengal.
During the conversation, Naveen is said to offered to extend his support to the neighbouring state which has been badly affected by the cyclone Amphan recently.
As per the details available Patnaik has offered support to the state in the form of manpower and materials to help the state overcome the aftermaths of the destruction triggered by the cyclone Amphan.
The CM also expressed solidarity with the people of Bengal in the time of crisis.
The development comes on the day when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to visit both the state to take a stock of the damaged caused by the cyclone in the two states.
