Sundergarh, Dec 6 (LocalWire) With Maoists observing People’s Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA) Week, the red rebels have released new posters and an audio tape on Thursday.
According to reports, the new posters, issued by Gumma area Committee of CPI (Maoist), surfaced at several areas of Panasput and Gajal Mamudi panchayats under Chitrakonda block of Malkangiri district.
The posters called out youth to join the PLGA and oppose alleged police atrocities on tribals.
Meanwhile, the Bolangir-Bargarh-Mahasamund division of the CPI (Maoist) released an audio tape where they supported the lawyers’ agitation for setting up of permanent bench of the Orissa High Court in western part of the state.
In the audio tape, Bolangir-Bargarh-Mahasamund division secretary Basant Kumar further appealed people to observe the PLGA Week between Dec 2-8 and join the outlaws.
On Wednesday, handwritten posters and banners bearing the name of CPI (Maoist) Gumma area committee surfaced at Hanumal village near Koraput-Malkangiri border.
The PLGA Week is observed every December 2 to 8 to mark the establishment anniversary of the outfit.
