Puri, Dec 19 (LocalWire) The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has issued a strict warning against online sale of Mahaprasad in the name of Puri temple managing committee.
The SJTA said anyone found guilty will face strict legal action.
Chief Administrator Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra said they don’t allow any private and individual selling of the holy food online.
“It is the responsibility of the Srimandir administration to cook and sell the Mahaprasad. We have requested the police to track those who are selling Mahaprasad online and take strong action against them,” said Mohapatra.
As per media reports, around four-five people are selling Mahaprasad (Abadga) on various online platforms.
“We request devotees not to fall for such misleading advertisements,” the temple administration said.
