Konark, January 9 (Localwire): The state 5T secretary and private secretary to the chief minister, VK Pandian made a surprise visit to the Konark Temple early morning on Thursday.
Encouraged by the positive response to the beautification drive of the Jagannath Temple complex in Puri and Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar, the state government is now focusing on the transformation of the World Heritage Konark Temple site.
Pandian was accompanied by Puri collector Balwant Singh and ASI superintendent Arun Kumar Mallick.
It may be noted here that the senior IAS officer has been assigned the task to supervise the execution of 5T (teamwork, transparency, technology, transformation and time) by the chief minister himself.
