Bhubaneswar, June 10 (LocalWire): The 16th state legislative Assembly’s first budget session will commence from 25 June, government sources said.
The first session will be held in two phases.
The first phase of the budget session will continue till 2 July. The second phase will commence from 12 July to 8 August.
Governor Ganeshi Lal will address the House starting the first session of the Assembly.
The deputy Speaker will be elected on 27 June and newly-appointed finance minister Niranjan Pujari will present the annual budget for the financial year 2019-20 on 28 June.
There will be 30 business days during the session from 25 June to 8 August.
