Bhubaneswar, June 10 (LocalWire): Odisha government has approved incentives to contractual, outsourced and volunteer healthcare professionals working in the management of COVID-19, an official said on Wednesday.
The incentive is to be given to such staff who have been working from March 1 – June 30 in COVID-19 management work and will be released after June 30, the order informed.
Staff working under schemes like MHU in PPP mode, Swasthya Sanjog, EmAS, Free Diagnostics and Swasthya Sahaya will be given the incentive from their respective scheme funds.
The incentive will be equivalent to the consolidated basic remuneration of the staff for a month, with the exclusion of allowances, perks and taxes, the order informed.
ASHAs and outsourced staff in medical colleges have been excluded.
