Bhubaneswar, May 3 (LocalWire): In a bid to counter exigencies in the management of COVID care centres, the Odisha Government has invited applications from Ayush doctors of the state.
In the advertisement released by the government, it has invited applications with a promise to engage 130 Ayurvedic doctors and 137 Homeopathic doctors with a district break-up of the requirements.
The doctors will be engaged on a contractual basis for 3 months, and they will be selected and engaged not later than July 2020.
Eligibility for the post requires a Bachelor degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)/ Bachelor degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from a recognized university.
The candidate must also have completed internship training and registered in the Central (CCH/CCIM) or State Odisha Council Board of Ayurvedic/Homeopathic Medicines at the time of application.
Apart from possessing BAMS/BHMS degree, the doctors will have to furnish an undertaking to be having sound physical and mental ability to serve in the present circumstances following the outbreak of COVID-19.
The notice also said that in case of shortfall of eligible candidates in a particular district(s), the gap will be adjusted by the surplus eligible candidates of other districts.
The remuneration will be paid from the India COVID-19 Emergency Response and Health System preparedness package allotted to the CDM & PHOs for the purpose.
