Bhubaneswar, May 21 (LocalWire): The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Tuesday declared the class 10 exam results, with an overall pass percentage of 70.78 % compared to last year’s 76.23 %.
As in the previous year, girls have outperformed boys, with a pass percentage of 51.73 % as against 48.26% of their counterparts.
Of the 5,87,720 students who appeared in the exam, 3,97,125 have cleared it this year.
The pass percentage of regular students stood at 71.35 %, while ex-regular 37.43%.
A total of 289 schools have registered cent percent pass results in the board exam, while 82 schools have drawn blank.
Results are available on the official websites — bseodisha.nic.in and bseodisha.ac.in. Students are advised to log on to these portals to know their scores.
They can also check their results through an SMS. Type OR10 (space) Roll number and send SMS to 5676750 to know the results.
Students can apply online for re-evaluation of their papers within 10 days, starting from May 24, said education secretary Pradipta Mohapatra.
