Bhubaneswar, March 23 (Local Wire): The state government on Monday said that the total positive cases of COVID 19 remained at two while it tested a total of 85 samples from suspected patients at the Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) in Bhubaneswar.
A statement on the cases of Coronavirus in the state released by the government on Monday said, “As on 12 noon today, 85 samples were sent for test and reports of all the samples have been obtained.
All were found negative. Health of 2 identified patients’ remains stable.
It is reported that 56 persons had contact with the patient. Communication has been made with 53 persons while effort is on to communicate rest 03 persons,”
It also said that 3667 persons who recently had travelled to foreign countries have been registered through 104 Helpline of the state government after the mandatory disclosure order was issued by the government last week.
The government also said that 35 persons are in Hospital Isolation.
“All CHCs and PHCs have been ordered to remain in readiness with all basic facilities like drinking water, toilet, electricity and all sanitary measures for which, the BDOs have been authorized to spend Rs. 10.00 lakh for CHC and Rs. 5. 00 lakh for PHC,” a statement from the government said.
The members of the Panchayati Raj Institutions have also been entrusted with the task of sensitize the people of their respective areas regarding consequences of “COVID-19” in the light of Government advisory.
