Bhubaneswar, April 7 (Local Wire): The state government on Tuesday said that it would start its dedicated telemedicine service from this Wednesday from 11am.
Senior IAS officer from the state Krishna Kumar said that the existing 104 helpline is receiving close to 14,000 calls per day and the government has now planned a special helpline to provide only telemedicine services.
According to the state government after the CM called for assistance for doctors for telemedicine, close to 300 doctors registered with the government within 24 hours to provide telemedicine services.
The service will become operational from April 8 at 11am.
Callers can seek information on the disease and get over the phone consultation from this service.
