Bhubaneswar, Jan 16 (LocalWire): The 53rd Annual International Convention of Computer Society of India CSI 2020 inaugurated Today at KIIT University Bhubaneswar.
The convention is the largest IT convention of Odisha held for the first time in the state where thousands of computer professionals and students from all across the nation participated.
The convention provided a platform for the participants to share their views and ideas on the various aspects of the theme – ‘Digital Democracy- IT for Change’ in the present scenario.
Speaking on the occasion Sri Tusharkanti Behera, Minister of State, E&IT and Sports, Govt. of Odisha said, “I congratulate Computer society of India for conducting the convention that has attracted IT professionals from across the nation and abroad.
The best part of its theme ‘Digital Democracy’ is that there should be digital inquisition in digital democracy in Social inquisition. The biggest achievement for our state was that Odisha top 5 in E-Governance” he added.
On the occasion of 53rd Edition of CSI, the Society will Honor the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Sri. Naveen Patnaik with CSI E–Ratna Award on its second day.
Computer Society of India (CSI) is the first and largest body of computer professionals in India started in the year 1965 by a few computer professionals and has now grown to be the national body representing computer professionals.
