Bhubaneswar, Oct 15 (LocalWire): Odisha’s Piyush Agrawal who studied at IIT Kharagpur has now developed an innovative mask to ward off the struggles faced by mask wearers during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Agrawal has now come up with a battery-operated mask which comprises two vents on its two sides fitted with small fans.
The scholar however claims that it can ensure better security against the pandemic.
He has used a N95 mask and added some more features to make it wearable even by athletes.
During his interaction with the media he said that in normal masks, the users are forced to consume more than normal Carbon Dioxide and struggle to get oxygen.
Agrawal has tried to ensure that the safety standards of masks are maintained and the users also do not find difficulty in their breathing.
His products have now been sent to National Physical Laboratory under Central Industry of Scientific Research (CISR), AIIMS and Maulana Azaad Medical College in New Delhi for scrutiny and required approvals.
