Bhubaneswar, Sept 7 (LocalWire): Sanket Ray, a native of Bhubaneswar has now been appointed as the President of Coca-cola India and Southwest Asia.
Ray has earned management and engineering degrees from prestigious institutions from Odisha and Madhya Pradesh.
While he studied management at the Xavier Institute of Management and Business Studies (XIMB), he completed his engineering degree from the MACT, Bhopal.
Ray had been working as the Chief Operating Officer for Coca-cola till now.
Former CMD of NALCO Ansuman Das shared the news on his twitter handle and said that this will make Odisha proud.
He said, “Sanket from Bhubaneswar to head Coca-cola India and Southwest Asia. This should make Odisha proud. Incidentally his father Dr Ray is a very well known veterinary doctor and a dear family friend,”
He said that Sanket had studied at XIMB and also at BJB College in the state capital. His father Dr SK Ray is a veterinary doctor from the city.
Ray is now slated to hold the highest position in Coca Cola (INSWA) Operation. Coca-cola is one of the leading global beverage brands across the globe.
