Cuttack/Bhubaneswar, Nov 25 (LocalWire) An Oil & Gas Pavilion was inaugurated at Baliyatra Ground in Cuttack on Saturday.
Oil industries and gas companies are jointly organizing the “Oil & Gas Pavilion” at stall no. 13, which was inaugurated by Padampur MLA Pradip Purohit.
The pavilion is showcasing Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna’s (PMUY’s) progress in Odisha and the rest of India.
Pertinently, LPG penetration in Odisha has increased from 19.5% in 2014 to 68.7% as of Nov 2018 (49% increase).
LPG consumers have increased by 273% from 19.69 lakh to 73.35 lakh as of Nov 2018.
To cater these LPG customers, distributorship network has increased from 367 to 842 distributors in Odisha on oil industry basis.
PMUY customers can now swap their 14.2 kg cylinder to 5 kg which will reduce initial cost, will be handy and easily portable.
