Berhampur, April 5 (LocalWire): The Opposition is going all guns to woo voters in Ganjam, the home district of ruling party supremo and CM Naveen Patnaik.
BJP president Amit Shah, the party’s senior leader and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath and Congress president Rahul Gandhi are all stated to visit to the district.
While Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to address a rally at here on Saturday, Rahul Gandhi will attend a rally at Digapahandi on April 9, the last day of campaigning for the first phase of the polls.
Berhampur and Digaphandi are under the Berhampur Lok Sabha constituency, which will go to poll on April 11.
Similarly, the BJP president is likely to address a rally at Polasara, next Sunday. Polasara is under Aska Lok Sabha constituency that will go to poll in the second phase on April 18.
Earlier, Shah had addressed an election meeting at Paralakhemundi in Gajapati district under Berhampur Lok Sabha on April 1.
Naveen Patnaik kicked off his electioneering by addressing a rally and conducting road shows in Gopalpur, Berhampur and Chhatrapur recently. Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan had also conducted a road show at Berhampur and addressed rallies at Digapahandi and RUdayagiri recently.
