Bhubaneswar, July 29 (LocalWire): Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will conduct examination for 28 vacancies of Odisha Municipal Administrative Services this year.
The online applications for the Examinations will be accepted from August 6 to September 5. The date of examination has not been notified by the commission.
The examination will be conducted according to the Odisha Municipal Administrative Services Rule, 2016 for 28 vacancies in four posts slotted in two groups. Group-A posts include- Assistant Director, Assistant Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer, and Enforcement Officer with a pay scale Rs. 15600-39100. Group-B will have Executive Officer with a pay scale Rs. 9300-34800.
The examination fees for the candidates have been fixed at Rs.500 which has to be submitted by September 11. Fees will be exempted for physically impaired candidates.
Candidates appearing for the exam must be between 21 to 32 years age group. They must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University. An additional computer certificate from any recognized institution may also be accepted, said the notification on the official website of OPSC.
The examination will be conducted in two successive stages- a written test comprising of two General Studies papers carrying 200 marks each followed by a personal interview.
The allotted examination centres as per OPSC are Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur. In case of insufficient candidates, the exam will be held at Cuttack only.
