Paradip, March 18 (LocalWire): The Paradip Refinery on Friday carried out a mock disaster management drill for its land-based and off shore sites, a company official said.
The scenario of the exercise was a “gas leak from a loaded tank-truck in a parking area”, he said.
CISF personnel and staff members of PPL, IFFCO, PPT and IOCL pipeline division, IOCL marketing division and NDRF, among other participated in the drill.
Additional district magistrate, additional superintendent of police, assistant director of factories & boilers, Odisha State Fire & Rescue Services team, CDMO, RTO, CESU and railway officials, and sarpanches also attended the programme.
The exercise was followed by a de-briefing session.
