Bhubaneswar, Feb 17 (Localwire): In a noble gesture, the weekly ‘Patha Utsav’ was celebrated in the State Capital today in a subdued way as a tribute to those who lost their lives in Thursday’s Pulwama attack.
At the start of the event a two-minute silence observed to pray for the departed souls.
“The people across the country are in a state of shock and have condemned the Pulwama attack. Every Indian now stands together against such evils in the society,” said a local resident.
The music of upcoming Odia film ‘Champion’, meanwhile, was released during the event. It was a tribute from the whole team of ‘Champion’ to the martyred jawans, said actress Archita Sahu. The Patha Utsav was also attended by Tourism and Culture Minister Ashok Panda and other dignitaries.
