Bhubaneswar, May 22 (Local Wire): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive today in the state to review the situation after cyclone Amphan caused destruction in several parts of the state.
The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) yesterday had confirmed that the PM will embark on a journey to the cyclone hit areas of Odisha and West Bengal.
The PM is expected to arrive in Bhubaneswar airport at 2:50pm today.
Modi is scheduled to go for a aerial survey of the cyclone hit districts of the state.
The Prime Minister is also expected to hold review meeting in the state capital with officials concerned at 5pm today.
Post meeting, he will leave for Delhi at 8:25pm.
