Bhubaneswar, March 26 (LocalWire): While the Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express will have restricted service on March 27, Puri-Yesvantpur-Puri Garib Rath Express will stand cancelled on March 29 due to a maintenance work, the railways said on Tuesday.
Although the maintenance work will continue for nine days under the jurisdiction of South Western Railway, the services of these two trains will be affected only on the two given dates, it said.
“It has been decided to cancel Puri-Yesvantpur-Puri Garib Rath Express for one day each from both directions and to partially cancel Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express between Satyasai Prashanti Nilayam and Bangalore stations,” a railway official said.
Similarly, Puri-Yesvantpur-Puri Garib Rath Express from Puri on March 29 and from Yesvantpur on March 30 will remain cancelled.
Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express from Bhubaneswar from March 27 to April 4 and from Bangalore March 28 to April 5 will run between Bhubaneswar and Satyasai Prashanti Nilayam (SSPN) and will remain cancelled from SSPN to Bangalore from both directions, he added.
Passengers, who had reserved accommodations, are being separately intimated about the cancellation through SMS alert, and refund will be granted for ticket cancellations.
