Bhubaneshwar: Feb 26 (LocalWire): Heavy rains and thunderstorms will hit the coastal districts of Odisha in the next four days, the Met office here said.
Nearly half a dozen districts such as Mayurbhanj, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajapur and Kendrapada will witness heavy rain during the period, the regional office of the Indian Meteorological Department said.
Districts such as Jagatsinghpur, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Jharsuguda, Cuttack, Angul, Deogarh and Sundargarh are expected to witness moderate rainfall on Tuesday, a media report said citing the IMD.
Thundershowers are also expected at a few north and south coastal districts.On day three, light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at a few places in the state.
Thunderstorm with strong wind and lightning to occur in Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Baleswar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur and Cuttack, among other places, the IMD warned.
