Bhubaneswar, July 18 (LocalWire): In the latest ultra Left-extremism, suspected Maoists have gunned down two people in a village close to Keisha border presuming them to be police informers in the wee hours today.
Bhaskar Rao and Satis Babu were killed as the suspected Maoists deduced that the duo disclosed their hideouts to security forces, said police officials.
The reign of terror unleashed by Maoists goes unabated in the cut-off villages and their diktat reigns supreme here.
A parallel form of administration rules the roost in several cut-off villages in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha border.
‘We hardly find government employees paying visit to our areas. It’s the Maoists who have the last say in everything,’ said the locals.
Maoists have let loose a reign of terror in Chitakonda and Kalimela region of Malkangiri district in recent months.
