Bhubaneswar, Jan 27 (LocalWire) India’s largest telecom operator Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd has added over 2.3 lakh new subscribers in Odisha in November 2019, the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India shows.
With the latest users, the numbers of total subscribers in the state has crossed 1.19 crore, over 35.8 per cent of the subscriber market share.
4G network, fast expansion of coverage are the reasons behind the growth, a company official said on Monday.
The state-run BSNL was the only other operator in the state to have added new subscribers in the month with net addition of 72555 subscribers.
The overall mobile subscribers count in the state has dropped by 2.16 lakhs, it stated.
