Bhubaneswar, Sept 5 (LocalWire): The School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash today announced the results of Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) for +2 Arts stream.
The minister said that the pass percentage for the arts stream stood at 67.56 percent, showing a growth as the pass percentage last year was 65.89 per cent.
Girl students seemed to have outperformed boys as 75.48 per cent girls passed the exams while the passing percentage of male candidates stood at 57.53 per cent.
A total of 1,48,452 students appeared in the examinations while a total of 2,18,800 students appeared in the exam.
As per government records only one student secured more than 90 per cent marks.
Bargarh district performed the best with 76.63 per cent passing marks.
The delay in results was attributed due to the Coronavirus threat and some staffers at CHSE testing positive for the global pandemic.
