The OHRC bench comprising Justice Bimal Prasad Das and Justice Raghubir Dash directed the emergency doctor, staff nurse and blood technician to appear before the panel on 31 October.
The state health secretary in a notice was also asked to depute a senior health department official to furnish the government’s stand on the unsavory incident.
The accused health personnel including the doctor were asked to report the circumstances for the gross medical negligence resulting in untimely death of the victim woman on 13 December, 2016.
45-year-old Sukanti Nayak was afflicted with anemia and was administered A positive blood at Keonjhar Sadar hospital although she was of O positive blood group.
The slip on the part of the concerned authorities had proved fatal as mismatched blood paved its way for her death.
