Bhubaneswar, April 12 (Local Wire): The Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) is now all set to start 1000 samples per day with the commissioning of COBAS machines in their labs.
The lab was earlier testing 350 samples per day which has now got impetus.
The state on the other hand is now also set to start testing in other parts of the state too.
“High throughput COBAS Machine has been commissioned at RMRC which substantially enhanced our testing capacity. MKCG (Berhampur), IGH (Rourkela) will undertake testing,” a statement from the government said.
It also added, “So also ILS (Institute of Life Sciences) which has got the permission of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, the testing will commence next week,”
According to the government MKCG Medical College at Berhampur will start the testing of 25 samples a day from April 13 while VIMSAR, Burla is also set to start their testings from April 15.
