Jagatsinghpur, Nov 27 (LocalWire) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday took out a rally in Jagatsinghpur in demand of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe in a 2016 murder case.
BJP leader Gatikrushan Satapathy conducted a 40-km pada yatra from Pankpal under Kujang police limit to Jagatsinghpur demanding a CBI probe in the murder of salesman.
Police sources said Ullash Jena, 32 ,was working as a salesman at a foreign liquor shop owned by Manoj Samal at Pankpal under Kujang police station.
He was allegedly burnt to death by unidentified miscreants in 2016.
Satapathy said: ‘Today we submitted our demand to the chief minister through superintendent of police for CBI probe into Jena’s murder. He was the only earning member of his family. We will create mass stir to paralyze the government if his family doesn’t get justice.”
